Competitive Travel

All players must attend a tryout for evaluation purposes. Coaches and staff will evaluate all players and make selections based on ability and specific team needs.

Players may receive an invitation to join the Travel team via email or an email that they have been selected for an additional tryout. Those who do not make the program will receive an email that includes alternate programs at Juventus Academy NY where your child can improve his or her skills in an appropriate environment.

Juventus Academy NY offers total or partial scholarships for players that show talent, commitment, and dedication.

U7 to U11B: Fall, Winter & Spring / 2x per week

U11 A to U16: Fall & Spring 3x per week / Winter

Classes are 90 minutes.

Our teams play in EDP & CJSL league during the Spring and Fall seasons. During the winter season U11-U16 play in the NY Winter League (organized by Juventus Academy NY) and U7-U10 play at Chelsea Piers.

Game locations and times vary and may be played on Saturdays and/or Sundays.

During all the seasons (spring, fall, and winter), we have permits space at Randall’s Island.

What is your weather policy?

If we have to cancel due to weather, we will send an email to inform you that your session has been canceled. Typically if the practice is canceled we notify you by 1:30 pm. If you do not receive an email from Juventus Academy NY then the session is on.

When does the season begin and end? 

The Travel Academy program is essentially a ten-month commitment from the first week in September through the first week of June. The year is broken up into three seasons, Fall, Winter, and Spring.

What is the commitment level?

All players are required to attend all practices and games throughout the year.  We understand that there may be conflicts at times and ask that coaches be notified in advance with a reason why the child will be attending.
